Our Eldership course is designed to be a deep dive into what being an Elder at First Free is all about.
Elders are the spiritual leaders and shepherds of the church. These men have demonstrated leadership in the home, and they have a good reputation outside the church. They desire to guide, guard, and govern the church under the lordship of Christ. Elder candidates should have a heart for discipleship and have demonstrated a gift for leading others.
The course is not a requirement for eldership, but if you’re considering serving as an elder in the future, this course will be very helpful to you.
The course will run on Tuesday evenings (6:30 – 8 pm) for 5 weeks. We will meet in Room 315.
Anyone in our church family (male, female, member, non-member) is welcome to take this course.
