A.L.I.C.E. Training is a widely adopted, effective method of active shooter response training for schools, workplaces, Houses of Worship, and other community organizations. This program uses option-based, proactive, survival strategies to prepare for active shooter events. Understanding that it is unlikely that police will be on scene when the first shot is fired, then it is important to empower people with the skills and knowledge to effectively respond until public safety does arrive.
The threat of an active shooter attack is rare but very real. In order to improve your chances of surviving an active shooter event, First Free Church will be offering “A.L.I.C.E.” training to our congregation.
This training will introduce participants to a variety of survival strategies followed by realistic scenarios that will provide opportunities to practice those strategies in order to develop skills that will improve the chances of surviving an active shooter incident wherever you may be (church, restaurant, mall, etc.) when it occurs.
