Expanding our social media presence is vital because it serves as the doorstep to our church, often the first place people look when deciding where to visit or connect. In today’s digital age, social media acts as social proof, showing others that our church is active, welcoming, and making a difference. By consistently sharing our message online, we not only expand our reach across the St. Louis Metro Area, but also fulfill our calling to be a light to the world, bringing hope and truth to those who may never step inside a church building unless they first see it online.
A broader digital reach impacts both our local community and people around the world. We’ve already seen our message reach 50 countries through YouTube alone, proving that the gospel can go further, faster, through digital ministry. Just as we send missionaries overseas, we also have the opportunity to make an impact right here at home by connecting with people in the St. Louis area who are searching for a church, hope, or community. Our online presence allows us to meet people where they are, both across the globe and across the street.
Subscribing to our YouTube channel and following our social media accounts helps us in several meaningful ways. A larger online following, while not the goal, does provide humble social proof that God is moving through our church, which encourages others to engage as well. Once we reach 1,000 subscribers on YouTube, we unlock additional tools like the ability to link directly to full sermons, efree.org/give, and efree.org/connect from our shorts and reels, making it easier for people to take next steps. Reaching this milestone also opens the door to ad revenue, which we can reinvest into spreading the gospel even further by boosting posts and expanding our reach both locally and globally.
