First Free Church is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance & Custodial Supervisor to help steward our campus and lead our custodial team. This role combines hands-on maintenance work with supervision of custodial staff to ensure our facilities are safe, clean, and welcoming for worship, ministry, and community use. This is a hands-on, working supervisor role in which the supervisor regularly works alongside the custodial team while providing daily leadership and oversight.

This position is a full-time, hourly position of approximately 40 hours per week. The Maintenance & Custodial Supervisor is part of the Facilities team and reports directly to the Facilities Director.

• Perform routine and preventative building maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee daily custodial operations and supervise custodial staff.
• Ensure cleaning standards, schedules, and safety practices are followed.
• Conduct facility walkthroughs to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Support ministry events and campus operations, including some evenings/weekends.
• Work closely with the Facility Director and church staff to meet campus needs.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• 3+ years of maintenance, facilities, or custodial experience.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Ability to perform physical work (lifting, standing, bending).
