We need our communities more than ever.
Groups at First Free provide a place to belong. Some groups meet on Sunday morning in our church building, others meet in homes during the week, some focus on specific life issues, and others are designed for men or women. Regardless of the group you choose, you will find a place to grow in your faith, find meaningful service, and build caring friendships.
Rooted is the best way to connect and find community at First Free! It’s a small group experience that will give you the opportunity to connect with God, the church community, and your purpose in life-changing ways.
These groups meet on Sunday mornings opposite the worship services both at 9 and 10:45 am. Some focus on a topical study such as finance, parenting, or leadership training, while other communities have a focus on interactive Bible study and prayer.
Small groups offer a deeper level of connection as the group studies and serves together.
Life Transformation Groups are weekly meetings of 2-3 people of the same gender for the purpose of helping one another grow as followers of Jesus. 60 minutes each week in an LTG can change the way you engage in and live out your faith!
We know that it is the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit that changes a heart. A changed heart not only affects your own life, but also ripples out to touch the lives of individuals you encounter each day – your family, your co-workers, your neighbors. Join us for fellowship, learning, and laughter.
Our men’s groups are a place for you to delve into God’s Word and create and strengthen friendships that hold one another accountable. God uses relationships to teach, embolden, and help us live out a gospel-centered life. We can’t do it alone!
Interest groups are ways to connect with others and build relationships while participating in your favorite hobby or activity.
Care Groups are based on the belief that we can break free from our brokenness, fear, and shame. It is for freedom that Christ set us free! (Gal. 5:1) Care Groups focus on the power of Christ’s redemptive work on the cross as the way towards freedom.
