Make a Difference

You can make a difference.

God wants to use you to befriend someone who is lonely, to care for someone who is hurting, to encourage someone who is down, to help someone who is weak, or to serve someone in need. It’s easier than you think to get started.

your personal
mission field

Start where you are!

Look around your life and identify family, friends, neighbors, classmates, and coworkers. Select a few of these people and:

  • Reach out to them to see how they are doing. Make an authentic connection to show you care.
  • See if there are any needs they have that you can meet.
  • Invite them over for a socially distant visit or meal.
  • Pray for them regularly.

Serve at
First Free

There are lots of ways to serve within the ministries of First Free!

  • First Free Kids and Student Ministries have roles to connect you to the lives of children and teens to help them grow spiritually.
  • Our Connections ministry is a great place for people with a heart for hospitality to serve.
  • Care Ministries is looking for couples to work with engaged couples in our Pre-Marital Mentoring program.
  • Our prayer team needs people to reach out to those on our prayer list for regular updates and encouragement.
  • Our Tech team makes it all happen behind the scenes, and yes – they can train you!
